The Hero Initiative, the charity that helps older comic creators in medical or financial need, will be taking its bite out of the big apple in a big way this weekend, Nov. 16-18. Hero will be at the Big AppleComic Book Expo at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, directly across from Madison Square Garden in New York.

Teshkeel Comics has donated fifty copies of THE 99:Origins Limited Edition Director's Cut, signed by creator Naif Al-Mutawa and co-writer Fabian Nicieza. This premium edition features extra pages, a card stock cover, and a "Limited Edition Director's Cut"foil stamp. This signed, limited edition will be available at the con exclusively at the Hero Initiative booth.
