TEDx is a conference, bringing together people from the technology, entertainment, and design landscape. Termed the 'the ultimate brain spa', the event's diverse audience comprises CEOs, scientists, creatives, philanthropists, venture capitalists, inventors and entrepreneurs. The first TEDx conference in the Middle East is to be held on October 10, 2009 at The Palladium in Dubai Media City. The conference has been themed, 'Dream, Do, Be - Finding Inspiration in the Unexpected'. The creator of THE 99 superheroes, Dr. Naif Al-Mutawa will be one of the speakers at the conference.
